Low water pressure in just one bathroom
PlumbWorks GTA Team•Oct 2, 2025•4 min read
If the rest of the house has good flow but one bathroom feels weak, start at the fixtures. Unscrew the faucet aerator and rinse the screen. It is the most common culprit, especially with older pipes or recent work on the street.
Next, check the shutoff valves under the sink and behind the toilet. They should be fully open. I have seen a half-closed valve from a past repair cut pressure in half and nobody noticed for months.
If you still have weak pressure, the issue could be a worn cartridge or a restriction inside the mixing valve. That is when a quick diagnostic makes sense, and we can usually fix it the same visit.
